Another Citadel Bulldogs football player is on the NFL radar, last season it was defensive back Cortez Allen (Pittsburgh Steelers) and this season it's WR/KR Kevin Hardy. In 2011, Hardy played in all 11 games with 7 starts.  Caught 4 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown (team runs triple option and threw only 75 passes the entire season).  Also rushed 6 times for 101 yards (16.8 average).  Returned 23 kickoffs for 562 yards for a 24.4 average. In 2010, he played in all 11 games with one start.  Caught 1 pass for 8 yards.  Returned 3 kickoffs for 39 yards. Played in all 11 games in 2009 with 9 starts.  Caught 14 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown.  Returned 26 kickoffs for 564 yards (21.7 average). Played in seven games in 2007 with 1 rush for 27 yards.  Returned 2 kickoffs for 59 yards.

In track in 2011, Hardy recorded first place finish in the long jump with a distance of 23’08.25 and overtook the second all-time spot in school history in the 60m dash with a personal-best time of 6.93 for first place in preliminary round… finished third in 60m dash at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational (1/29)… logged a 6.98 time in the 60m to finish fifth place and earned season-best mark of 23’11 in long jump for a third place at Niswonger Invitational this past February (2012).
