Bird is a big physical safety from the Utah Utes ready to make his path to the NFL, joining defensive backfield teammates Justin Taplin-Ross (Dallas Cowboys) and Robert Johnson (Tennessee Titans).
His exceptional play earned him 2011 All-Pac-12 honorable mention in 2011 for special teams where he excelled with 24 tackles and two blocked kicks.
