Jeremy Jones, a 5-10, 190-pound fifth year senior earned, DII All American, First Team All-GLIAC and Little All-American Team in 2011. Jones led the Wayne State Warriors with 85 tackles, nine interceptions and four quarterback hurries. With nine interceptions resulting in 196 return yards, Jones ranks sixth all-time in the category.

Jones was key piece to the Warriors advancing into the playoffs for the first time in 94 seasons (wow) by winning four straight road games before falling short to Pittsbugh State 35-21 in the National Championship game.
