Kamal Mgaresh, CB/FS Southern Connecticut
Second Team North East Conference
Mgaresh finished with 42 tackles (18 solo) along with two interceptions and one fumble recovery his senior year at Southern Connecticut. His season was also highlighted by two touchdown returns via his one of his interceptions and his lone fumble recovery. Prior to his arival at SCSU, Mgaresh played at Dean College where he lettered two years in track running the 100 meters.
His Southern Connecticut State test results speak for themselves with 26 reps of 225, bench max 400, max squat 500, pro shuttle 4.1 and 4.0, hang clean 290, broad jump 10’6”, vertical 37.5 and forty times of 4.41 and 4.45. He was selected second team All North East Conference along with a 3.1 GPA being awarded Academic Honor Roll Mention as well.
