Victoria Hopps is the President of Hopps Construction Services Inc. and has been serving our local community with great services for over a decade. Airports, Housing Authorities, etc., just to name a few.
Creating jobs for construction workers has been priority to improve economic stimulus. Our time at the Miami-Dade County with the terminal renovations going on for several years gave us the tool and platform at Hopps Construction Services Inc to do just that. Having contracts with Tampa Housing Authority and Polk County Housing Authority has also provided lengthy projects and assignments to keep our families of employees in a comfortable place in their careers.
Hopps Construction Services Inc. is a hugely open-minded business and partnering with distributors that are utilizing materials for construction that are new to our region. We are bringing innovation to construction and creating structures that are more secure than traditional structures. As a general contractor, I was able to secure a contract with the City of Tampa teaching construction through a program of at-risk youth in our communities. Those teachings are then put to the test every Wednesday when my group volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. Some of my students have went on to secure permanent employment in the construction industry.
Victoria Hopps is the chair of a new non-profit for our area of facilitating homes for those in need. Hopps Affordable Housing Corp is a new 501©(3) that is brining together a Board of Directors that can assist the population of qualified individuals with the most important necessity of human needs, which is housing. Through this program our communities will bring dignity, respect, and trust to our neighborhoods and will eventually increase our property values. Becoming a homeowner is a big step for everyone. Educating the applicants with sustainability training will give greater chances to the families participating in the program.
