Debbie tell us about her first trip to Kabul in 2002, driving through a war zone, trying to fit in and being surprised everyone was grateful to see a professional hairdresser. She recounts going back to Michigan, petitioning for hair supplies, and heading back to Afghanistan to open up a beauty school.
