Marsha Joiner host talking with Gloria Hartman on September 11, 2019 about her husband, Tony.
Tony had dementia and had mini strokes but he wasn't on his death bed, was able to talk, eat and walk. After a hospital visit hewas in rehab and developed a urinary tract infection and was given Levaquin and things went downhill from there. He started to lose muscular contol and was in pain. They gave him atian, morphine, haldol with no consent and Gloria said not to give that to him. Due to a brain injury, he was very sensitive to drugs. Keep in mind that Tony was not dying and at no time had Gloria approved drugs but did accept hospice after they gave her the song and dance of how they would help. It cost Tony his life.
