Sevé Schelenz likes brownies, baseball, beer and making movies (damn, it should have been another “b” word). He began creating films at 15 with a VHS camera. Now considered an adult, Sevé has made two horror feature films. The first was entitled Skew and some people liked it. The second is Peelers. It’s awesome. Sevé likes his brownies with nuts. Peelers played Shriekfest in 2016! In 2001, Sevé created his own production company called Sleep Apnea Productions Inc. His first project was a six-episode comedy series entitled Great Scott!! …television that bothers you. The series was sold to national station The Comedy Network and the local affiliate CTV station. After this sale, Sevé created several pilot episodes for television. He also went on to complete a 13-episode comedy series entitled Stand Up on Whistler Mountain.
Lisa DeVita was born and raised in “Hollywood North,” aka Vancouver, BC. Having decided to fully immerse herself into the role of writer, Lisa took two courses within the field to see which one appealed: Copywriting and Screenwriting. The former, while fun, didn’t hold the engaging storytelling she longed for, while the latter, unequivocally captured her interest forever. She immediately enrolled in the Writing for Film and Television Program at Vancouver Film School, whose alumni include Kevin Smith and Neill Blomkamp.
Upon graduation from film school, Lisa moved to Las Vegas to launch her filmmaking career. She worked as a freelance writer and amateur poker player to make ends meet.
After four years in Vegas and no significant developments in her writing and film career Lisa moved back to Vancouver, BC. She recently wrote and produced the full-length feature film, Peelers.
