Jason Fong is an independent filmmaker hailing from Portland, OR. A self-taught filmmaker, Fong spent most of his childhood making home movies ranging from action to comedy with his friends and family. In his younger days, he was always more the actor then writer/director. It wasn’t until college, under the tutelage of Marvel Comics famed writer Brian Michael Bendis, did Fong initiate an interest in writing. In 2014, Fong set out to Produce, Write, and Direct his first short film “Prey”. A horror-thriller film about two expert thieves who break into a house looking for an easy score, unbeknownst, the patron of the house isn’t average “Prey”. Prey went on to be screened at one of the biggest horror film festivals in the world at L.A's Shriekfest as well as receiving a nomination for Best Horror Short. It also screened at the legendary Hollywood Chinese Theater at the prestigious short film festivals Hollyshorts Monthly Screening. Currently, Prey will be available via the Bitpix platform which can be freely streamed on Amazon Fire and Roku. In 2016, Fong is actively developing three upcoming short films which will be shot in the coming month in Portland, OR and Los Angeles, CA.
