David Siudzinski is a filmmaker who has written fourteen feature-length screenplays, which have garnered awards from Shriekfest, Indie Gathering, Beverly Hills, Fresh Voices, and Austin Film Festival.
He has created numerous short films and an online news series.
He is currently producing a documentary on the chess coach of Former World Chess Champion Bobby Fischer. His documentary, originally capturing the life and times of Reverend International Grandmaster William J. Lombardy, has morphed into a tale about how Reverend Lombardy’s landlord has been trying to unlawfully evict him (and other disabled seniors) from their places of residence for decades so as to kick out rent-stabizated tenants, in violation of New York State Laws.
In the process of helping Reverend Lombardy from being evicted, my Director of Photography and I have discovered that the state courts and state agencies are favoring professional landlords in violation of the United States Constitution.
The documentary will show how the Federal District Court will rule on a pending motion for a preliminary injunction and restraining order against New York City Housing Court, and what will ultimately happen to a legendary Grandmaster.
