Madeline Ben-Shoham has been scribbling in notebooks since she was 5 years old. She grew up in Southern California, but has spent the majority of her adult years in New York and the Bay Area. Madeline received an MFA in Poetry from Mills College, and was published in a variety of literary journals before turning her attention to screenwriting full time. Her first love is science fiction, but she also writes in the horror, historical drama, and romantic comedy genres. Her sci-fi drama Gemini’s Children was a finalist in the 2014 Shriekfest Screenplay Competition, and a Second Rounder in the 2014 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
