Jesus Rose ~ Now what?? Nothing but the Truth with Apostle Designee Katie Pierce

As christians are we getting the full benefits of Christ resurrection?  We celebrate year after year and this is a good thing.  Have we really looked at the full benefit of this historic event.  I attempted to turn the thoughts of an Easter audience on Sunday to this subject matter.  John 16:7 Jesus tells the disciples how important it is that he go away.  In John 14 he explains that he would leave the comforter, The Holy Spirit.  Here in John 16 he is still trying to get them to see the benefit of his being obedient unto death. Philippians 4:10 says, "That I may know him, and power of his resurrection and the fellowhip of his sufferings...."  How many of us want to share in his sufferings?  Do we even consider suffering a benefit?  After the attire has gone to the cleaners and the celebration is over; what did you receive from the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  How is your life and example to all that Jesus rose from the dead??
