The question was asked, "Who will be here on Christmas Day?".  I began to ponder all the things I have to do.  Family coming in from out of town and I am cooking the Christmas dinner!  How am I going to get it down and come to church?  After a few minutes I was so convicted.  Here I am a Christian trying to figure out how I was going to make time to celebrate the birth of my Lord and Savior on a Sunday that happens to be Chirstmas day!  The first thing I have to look at is the word "Lord".  The word Lord according to the bible dictionary means one possessed of absolute control.  It denotes a master, as of slaves or a ruller of subjects.  So have I made Christ Lord according to my actions?  This perked my curiostity.  According to Hartford Institute for religion research, when Christmas falls on a Sunday it presents a problem for nearly every Protestant congregation-no matter what the size, shape or denominations affiliation.  So the question becomes what does Christmas really mean to Christians?  Where will you be on Christmas Sunday morning for this day that has been set aside to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Join me tonight for an open discussion (213) 943-3799 @ 7:30 cst.
