Released on November 22, 1968, The Beatles became the first full album to follow Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which had been released some 18 months earlier in June 1967. A multiple number of events occurred in this interim (the death of Brian Epstein, the trip to India, the start of the Apple Corporation, and the tumultuous year of 1968 political/cultural events) that affected The Beatles as a band and their music. The Timmons Brothers will analyze, explore, and celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary of the album that has become known as (The White Album) and its place in the history of rock and roll and the legacy of The Beatles.
