YAWEH ROPHEKA

There Yahweh set down laws and rules for them to live by, and there he tested them. 26 He said, “If you will listen carefully to Yahweh your Elohim and do what he considers right, if you pay attention to his commands and obey all his laws, I will never make you suffer any of the diseases I made the Egyptians suffer, because I am Yahweh Ropheka.”(Exodus 15:25-26)

He is The Lord Your Healer. We often think of healing in terms of physical healing. If someone is sick and ailing we say they need healing. If you are bleeding or in mild or severe pain you think in terms of healing.

            So, we can go to Jehovah Ropheka, The Lord Your Healer. Yet, His healing goes beyond the physical. He is also a healer of emotional, mental, spiritual, and moral sickness. There is nothing God is not able to heal us from. We must learn to expand our comprehension of what an awesome God He is.

            Imagine, God who spoke the world and universe into being, if He is capable of creating from nothing, certainly He is able to restore from something. There is a reason why God commanded us not to make any graven images. An image limits your God to the size you have constructed. If He remains as He is, a Spirit, then he is not within any bounds that limits Him.

            We can have confidence in the very thought that He is God and no limits are found in Him.  “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people” Matthew 4:23. And Jesus is still going around because He is still Jehovah Ropheka.
