Is There Only One Path to God?

There are many concepts in religion, entertainment, and pop-culture of who and what God is, and the path one must take to get to him. As believers in the Most High, Christ, and the Bible, how do we use what we know about God to show those who are in darkness the one true path? Keep in mind that we were once followers of the diverse paths that exist in the world today. At which point in your life did you find out that the path you were on was leading in the opposite direction of God?
