From the Political realm, we have a possible way to stop the nomination of Ketanji Brown Haris. The question is, will the GOP take the chance? In January 6 news, a defendant has been convicted of one charge and acquitted of another by A DC-area US District Court judge. And the guy never even entered the building. He isn't 100% disappointed with the verdict. I also have an excellent editorial on the sometimes-counterproductive conduct and behavior of some GOP types. HawkeyeMike will be in for some comment. In Sports, we have a lotof movement in the NFL trade and free agent markets. Some are even interesting! Meanwhile, the USFL begins its revival next month, and is attempting to differentiate itself from the NFL, as well asother fledgling leagues, with some rather interesting rules twists. And of course, March Madnes headsinto its second weekend, i.e., the Sweet Sixteen, with several upstart teams, along with the usual Power5/6 conference representation. But of the 16 remaining teams, four are double-digit seeds, with one being a 15-seed.One team--my beloved Iowa Hawkeyes--didn't make it out of the first round, falling to a #12 seed, who promptly got trounced in the next round. Brother Tommy will be on hand to weigh in. In PoliSports, we may just have an interview with what might be described as THE quintessential PoliSports figure of this year. We may have some sort of interview with a "WilLia" Thomas. No telling if there's any connection! Join us at 5:30p ET, Wednesday 3/23/2022.
