RESCHEDULED FROM DECEMBER 11, 2020: Jihadist attacks have recently plagued Europe. These include the October 16 beheading of French schoolteacher Samuel Paty in a Paris suburb, the October 29 killing of three by an assailant armed with a knife at a NIce church, and the November 2 shooting rampage that killed four outside Vienna's main synagogue. In response, the Austrian and French governments have taken measures such as the closure of mosques and organizations deemed to have incited violence and Islamic separatism. Ned May, the creator of the website Gates of Vienna, will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss these attacks and the European responses. Topics will include whether these policies are correct and whether the attacks mark a shift in European attitudes towards jihadist terror and Islamic supremacism.
