Joseph Smith: 

“...all your losses will be made up to you in the resurrection provided you continue faithful. By the vision of the almighty I have seen it. - More painful to me the thought of annihilation than death ” (The Words of Joseph Smith, pg. 196)

“Broad is the gate, and wide the way that leadeth to the deaths...” (D&C 132:25)

“...but those who Sin agt. The H.G. cannot be forgiven in this world or in the world to come but they shall die the 2nd. Death – but as they concoct scenes of bloodshed in this world so they shall rise to that resurn. Yes, I am standing in the midst of all kinds of people... As far as we degenerate from God, we descend to the devil and lose knowledge, and without knowledge we cannot be saved, and while our hearts are filled with evil, and we are studying evil, there is no room in our hearts for good,” (HC 4:588)
