COME OUT OF BABYLON, Page 31, Chapter 4 of The Gathering of Israel by Ogden Kraut.
There is not a spot where the Lord can tarry over night outside of these valleys of the mountains; the rest of the world is Babylon, in the strictest sense of the word. (Patriarch John Young, J.D. 5:371)
The word Babylon is Greek for Babel or “confusion.” It is a word which accurately describes our world today, as well as the ancient Roman world, (Rev. 14:8, 17-18) from which our nation and others have acquired their governmental roots. It is because every nation is in a state of “confusion” that the Lord has called them Babylon.
God has called His people to gather out of the wickedness and corruptions of Babylon, just as He would call a righteous soul from out of a den of thieves, a saloon, or a diseased area. God seeks to have His people gather to one place and form a community and society of their own. Former presidents and apostles have proclaimed this decree of the Lord.
