In the Book of Jishua it shows how the people decided to obey God because Moses was dead and Joshua was Moses minister and God promoted Joshua. The book of Judges tells how the Israelites kept rejecting God. They were worshiping idols God punished them each time by allowing other nations to attack and defeat them. A time of peace followed, and the Israelites were faithful to God for as long as the Judges lived.
