Bishop Patrick L Wooden Upper Room COGIC

Upper Room was founded and built on GOD FIRST principles. Back in the late 80's, God gave Bishop Wooden to teach the God First principles from Matthew 6:24-34. Born out of this teaching was the God First way of thinking, God First Salutation, and the God First Logo. God First is not a motto; it is a lifestyle, an ideology, a worldview (a way of thinking). It is the path, the lenses, the road and the course that a believer must take in this life in order to experience the wonderful things that God has for us. A God First way of thinking will require an incredible level of "buy in" to see the active power of God in our lives. It challenges us to elevate our minds to go higher in our commitment to God by seeking the things of God, first; and subsequently, He will add all the things we need.
