Author John Kennedy New Book Coming Soon

John grew up in the backwoods of east Texas with fifteen siblings. He and his siblings suffered for twentyfour years under an abusive father. John started a survivor’s journey at the age of seven as he dealt with his own abuse. At the age of fourteen John’s father went to prison for his crimes against the family. He then took on a provider and leadership role and as a consequence his healing during teenage years diminished, and stress almost consumed him. After graduation from High School in 1973 he joined the United States Marine Corps to escape his anguish. Military service enabled him to reignite the healing process and begin his own life journey. During this time John found new paths to restoration and healing by learning the truth about himself, God, and others. Tutorship and encouragement of fellow Marines played a critical role in that faithful journey. After serving, he entered Southern Illinois University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, with honors, in 1982. After college graduation John pursued a career in electrical engineering, marketing and software/services sales in the high-tech industry. John traveled the world throughout his career working with men and women across multiple cultures in Europe, Asia Pacific, North America and Puerto Rico. Because of his love of working with diverse cultures, commitment to excellence, personal discipline, and professionalism, John excelled during his thirty-year career as a respected leader in the high-tech industry.
