In the second book of Peter he shares a great fomula for every Believer to use.He talks about precious promises before he delivers the formula. Peter splits up many things he had to share yet in the end it summed it all up. It summed up to, the Christian life demands dilligence in pursuing moral excellence. Knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and selfless love. Peter understood that if these morals were not being practiced then arrogrance, greed, and covetousness would take over the Believer. The teaching were thought of as if God would not send judgement and the the present would be the same as the future. It may appear not to come because God is long suffering but, one day God will judge all deeds, thoughts, and doings.
