Part singer, lyricist, rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and minister, Rose aka Shekina, a Chicago, IL native, has ministere...d and performed in front of thousands over the course of time in her career and ministry as a music artist. Her music career as an artist began when she became ‘Shekina’ in the group ‘Shekina N’ Glory.’ The groundbreaking duo released their album, Rock The Stage in 2014. Throughout the group's musical career they've shared the stage with gospel powerhouses such as Mr. Canton Jones, Dr. Bobby Jones, and Amber Bullock just to name a few.

As Rose branches out with her first solo project, ‘The Rose Effect,’ she maintains an unshakable confidence in her message of faith, hope, and love. Rose represents a movement, and a generation relentlessly advancing toward a positive new sound in the industry. Being more than just an artist, Rose is always creating viable opportunities abroad within ministry, as an entrepreneur, and a philanthropist. Rose has embarked on an ambitious plan to bring her unique style of hip hop and urban gospel to the forefront of the industry.
