Interview with Ms. Keisha Covington

Kiesha Covington is not your average Gospel singer but has tapped into the heartbeat of God. In fact what some consider a special talent this young lady views it as a sacred calling on her life.

Kiesha is a native of Atlanta Georgia and a graduate of Northside High School. She began singing at the age of five. By the age of sixteen she began lend her talent to the Tour Show Of The Performing Arts. Her vocal genius gained much attention in her travel with the Tour Show to Paris where she performed for a week in concert.

She has toured with several local and national recording artist to Stockholm, Sweden; Visby, Finland;Denmark and several major cities in the United States. Kiesha has provided background vocals for to well known artist like Kirk Franklin, Vanessa Bell Armstong, Hezekiah Walker, Vashawn Mitchell, Terrance Cotton, Monica Lisa Stevenson, Merton Huff & UPC,Maurette Brown Clrak(It Aint Over), Kurt Karr, Reverend Darryl Coley and the Gospel Music Workshop Of America. Kiesha has faithfully served a decade with Dirk Chaney and The Chosen Aggregation and has been featured on his first live recordings and song entitlied "God Is Great".

Kiesha vocal aptitude had crossed her over into theatre performance without abandoning her commitment to the message of the Gospel. She has featured in nationally known plays such as "Real Love Ain't Suppose To Hurt", "If You're Real Lord Change Me", and "Church Folks".

She is a proud member of Total Grace Christian Center wshere she serves as a Worship Leader at both the Headquarter and Gwinett campuses. Kiesha humbly submits to the leadership of Bishop Jonathan Alvarado & Dr. Toni Alvarado to whom she credits her continued worship development.

Kiesha is a proud wife to Jesse Covington and a doting mother to son, Allen.
