On tonight's show, host Tom Merrill speaks with Ali Rothrock, an author, mental health advocate, nationally known speaker, and a former volunteer firefighter. She also is the CEO and Lead Instructor for On the Job and Off, an online platform dedicated to building more resilient first responders. She authored the book Where Hope Lives, detailing her her first few years in the fire service which saw her bullied, harassed, and subject to behavior that is anything but professional. She will discuss how she turned that bad experience in a positive direction and recovered to make a difference and continues to make a difference in the lives of first responders everywhere.
