Tonight we talk to Lieutenant Kevin Yoos is a 21 year veteran with the Fire Department City of New York assigned to Squad Company 270 in Queens, N.Y.  He has been working in the Special Operations Command (SOC) for the past 17 years and prior assignments include Squad 61, Ladder 17 and Engine 50 in the Bronx.

The scholarship is available to residents of the United States and Canada only, and both career and volunteer fire fighters, EMS and HazMat personnel are eligible. The selected scholarship recipients will be announced monthly and ending on December 31, 2016..
