Matt McDowell is the Chief of Training for the North Charleston Fire Department, Instructor for the South Carolina Fire Academy and President of SAFE Firefighter, LLC. He holds a degree in Fire Administration and has previously served as the President of the Lowcountry FOOLS, a Captain for the Bluffton Twp. Fire District, Training Officer for Hardeeville Fire Department in South Carolina and Firefighter for the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
