Matt McDowell is the Chief of Training for the North Charleston Fire Department, Instructor for the South Carolina Fire Academy, President of the Lowcountry FOOLS and Owner of Safe Firefighter, LLC. He holds a degree in Fire Administration and has previously served as Captain for the Bluffton Twp. Fire District, Training Officer for Hardeeville Fire Department in South Carolina and Firefighter for the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
