Join host Al Schlick as he welcomes Leigh Hubbard, Director of Operations for the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI). Leigh has thirteen years of experience in association and non-profit management with an emphasis on strategic planning, operational improvement and board development. During her service as the Director of Operations for ISFSI her team has increased membership by 54 percent, fully developed and launched two significant professional development credentials, spearheaded a long-term strategic planning initiative, and has been instrumental in the launching of an industry professionalism campaign, and added multiple value added benefits for the ISFSI membership. Listen in as Al and Leigh discuss the importance of membership in the ISFSI and the value it brings to the fire service instructor.

The ISFSI leads fire and EMS instructors in their efforts to reduce firefighter fatalities and injuries, increase firefighter safety, and improve the profession through education and training. ISFSI supports instructors through educational opportunities, networking, mentoring programs, leadership opportunities, instructional resources, and legislative representation.
