How the Hip hop and poetry community has played a major part in helping to organize and build. We will be talking to him while checking out his latest project. We will also have Special GuestJaiye Empress, is a poetic edu-tainor and creative artist-preneur. Her business, Empressive Expressions, LLC™, is an artistic platform devoted to inspiring and empowering women of the African diaspora through the art of creative self-expression. Jaiye writes and performs poetry from this platform, and lovingly handcrafts souvenirs inspired by her poetic passion. Her poetic products include beaded body accessories, all natural body butters, and affirmation cards. Besides her business, Jaiye works as a Teaching Artist for a nonprofit organization, S.O.U.L. Sisters, dedicated to empowering girls and femme-identified youth of color. In every venture she is apart of, Jaiye uses her artistry to express stories of self-love, cultural pride and sisterhood solidarity.
