We're all talking about Aretha Franklin and the new RESPECT movie. This week I've invited cultural critic A. Scott Galloway to share his impressions of this new biopic as well as the prospect of returning to theaters after the pandemic. . After we discuss the film there might be time to discuss this and other fils in the coming-of-age genre. There are so many ways and so many places to grow up in this country, and following a character from innocence to adulthood reminds us all of the joys and pains of life. Whether understanding how an artist first developed their skills, to overcoming poverty, abuse, troubled relationships, or simply coming to understand the world in all its pleasures and pains, these stories remind us of the resilience of the human spirit.
