Special guest the Award Winning Duo of Judy Coder and Jennifer Epps and we travel for a Horseback adventure in Mongolia with BCHA members Deb and Greg Shultz!
Notable Exceptions is an eclectic acoustic duo, whose music kindles an earthy feel and a sweet, yet spunky sound. From house concerts to concert halls, each performance is a potpourri of Americana, Folk, Western, and novelty tunes. Judy Coder and Jennifer Epps are known in the world of Western Music for their finely crafted vocal harmony. The two originally met at annual gatherings of the Western Music Association in Albuquerque, NM. Judy had fronted successful bands and established a solid solo career, and Jennifer was touring with the award-winning Western trio, Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band. In 2014 Judy joined Jennifer (and the band's founding member, Lauralee Northcott) for a spring tour in Canada. The duo formed shortly afterward. Performance tours are often a combination of duo and trio appearances. Notable Exceptions was named 2015 Harmony Duo of the Year by the Western Music Association. They have the unique honor of being nominated by the WMA for the 2016 Duo or Group of the Year as both NE and HCCB.
BACK COUNTRY HORSEMEN OF AMERICA'S, Executive Director Jim McGarvey introduces us to Montana BCHA members Deb and Greg Shultz. They will take us on a tour of a country steeped in the culture of nomadic Horsemen as we travel to Mongolia and learn more about the traditions and riding opportunities in the land of Genghis Khan!
