13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.

14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.

There are seasons and times in the life of the believer when we "feel alone" . Yes, it is a part of the human experience. We feel as though no one knows, cares, or remembers us or our plight. Sometimes we even feel as though God has forsaken us too! But the truth is that Jesus NEVER leaves us alone. We may "feel" alone, but the TRUTH is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. What a loving and merciful God He is to us!
