The Sin of PRIDE! How God hates it! It keeps His presence and His blessings at bay. It is a form of hatred...not an expression of God's love. Ephesians 4:2 KJV....with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. Our present culture has been over taken by aggressiveness and haughtiness; it has crept into every aspect of our living, even in driving. People are no longer considerate of one another. We are no longer patient with the elderly, handicapped, or with the young. Our culture has launched into a pit of failure by over-emphasing the "importance" of self-satisfaction rather than pleasing God and serving one another. But it was not so with our Savior, Jesus Christ! He came to seek out those who were in need of salvation, and save them. Mark 10:44 KJV...And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. In order to be the head of the household, you must become the SERVANT of the household first. If you are to be the chief, you must humble yourself and serve everyone. The GREATEST POSITION in the world, it that of an humble servant. If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
