In 1981, Albert was diagnosed with an incurable service-related back condition,  a woman prayed for him, a miraculous healing, baptized in the Holy Spirit Who prophesied to Albert that He was commissioning him to be an ambassador of peace to bring healing to the nations. In 2009, Albert joined forces with another American missionary, Russell Stendal. Together Russell and Albert assisted in the Columbian/FARC peace accord negotionations with the top ranked FARC gurrilla leaders in Havana, Cuba. Their major objective was to help in ending the nearly 50 year bloody civil war. Over a three year period, together with a series of creative miracles healing's among the leadership, resulted in a majority of these communists coming to Jeaua Christ, thus setting the stage for the war's end. Russell and Albertwere nominated for the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize, and later awarded the Damascus Gold Medallion by the Columbian military
