Demonic STRONGMAN spirits mentioned in the Scriptures along with comments on what they minister (will be obvious by their names).  Familiar spirit-(1 Sam. 28:7, 8). This is the Old Testament term for "demon.”  It is called "familiar" because it is assigned to families and their member’s .These spirits assigned to ALL believers and unbelievers alike have them and the other family members for their destruction.  Opening that door, Satan sends an assignment against that family'. The familiar spirit comes down family line the familiar spirit of fornication will minister to the descendants/ carrying out the generation curse of fornication. If great-great-grandpa was a fornicator, it likely that great-grandpa and grandpa will have gotten into fornication. The generations curse comes down three to four generations upon the children and descendants of the one who sinned. (Ex. 5:20).   You must confess the sins of the ancestors and predecessors on one’s own family line and the spouse’s line back to the family’s origins You must repent for grieving the Holy Spirit Repent for those whom may have been harmed. “Blessing the Lord and their descendants in restitution, asking the Lord's forgiveness; THEN breaking the generations curse in Jesus' Name,” (Lev. 26:40-45).  

 The familiar spirit is not only knows you but all of your habits. He discerns with ALL of your ancestors and their habits, even 30 generations ago or two thousand years ago.  He knows your family and its weaknesses well. More than one familiar spirit may be assigned to a person.
