Psychic attacks and intrusions occur both consciously and unconsciously. Because thoughts can be picked up by demons and carried to people over any distance. We are psychically connected, we can reach people over any distance – for good or ill – unless they are screened and shielded.
If we indulge in sexual fantasies about another person, we may violate his/her psychic space without even knowing what we are doing. A very common problem for people who have been sexually abused, or have left abusive relationships, is that the former abuser turns up in their psychic space at night, trying to force his way into their bed.
Dream Realm
The little known arena of spiritual warfare is in the dream realm. GOD speaks to us in the still small voice. “And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice,” (I Kin. 19:12).
Sleep is a war front of demonic manipulation and attacks: There are three categories of people: possessed, oppressed or ignorant of the witchcraft attacks.
If you feel that you have been demonically attacked in dreams, enter into prayer and counter attack. GOD may wake you up to pray against incoming attacks of the enemy. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
