Jewish leaders were furious with Jesus for telling His disciples they had the authority to bind and loose were not part of the prescribed Jewish religious/political system. He gave them authority in unseen in Heavenly places. This realm where the binding and losing occur and from which all things on the earth can be bound or loosed - disallowed or allowed.
Mk. 16:15-18, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Jesus broadened their power He opened it to be used throughout the entire world!
(Mk. 16:15), “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
It was contrary to the opinions of the Jews that the Gentiles should be admitted to the privileges of the Messiah's kingdom, or that the partition wall between them should be broken down. It was long before the disciples could be trained to the belief that the gospel was to be preached to all men; and it was only by special revelation,
