WAKE UP TO SUCCESS

An individual must examine the temptation as to its source before he can determine how to overcome it. "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love them. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man, But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth for sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death," (Jam. 1:12- 15).
Evil spirits gain entrance to a person’s life through an agreement of engagement of sin. Paul tells us in (Rom. 13:14), “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.”  Look at the Scripture, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil,” (1 Jn. 3:8).

It is a choice to decide to walk upright before the Lord. Daniel gives us the secret of survival in a heathen land as shown in (Dan. 1:8), “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; there he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”
Daniel made a decision in his heart not to sin. God has provided protection from evil spirits for a person when a person walks in submission to the Spirit of God.
