Jesus replied: Anyone who loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him.
Anyone who does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not my own: it is the word of the Father who sent me.
Isaiah 11:1, “But a shoot shall spout from the stump of Jesse, and from his roots a bud shall blossom. The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him”. Jesse: David’s Father. Stump: After the Babylonian exile, only a stump of the Davidic Dynasty will remain; from it will arise the new shoot, the Messianic King. Also the root meaning of the word bud refers to the word NESER which hits the root of NAZIR which translates to NAZARETH. Jesus would be called Jesus the Nazarene!
Matthew 2:23, “He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what had been spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled, ‘he shall be called a Nazarene“.
Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you this sign: The virgin shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall call him Immanuel”.
Matthew 1:24-25, “When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home. He had no relations with her until she bore a son, and he named him Jesus”.
