Study Urantia Paper 36 - The Life Carriers, Part 6—Living Forces

This week we will complete our study of Urantia Paper 36, The Life Carriers, by recapping the Seven Adjutant Mind-spirits, and then completing with Living Forces.

This has been another wonderful study of The Urantia Book. So far, in our study of Paper 36, we've covered the following sections: 1.Origin and Nature of Life Carriers, 2.The Life Carrier Worlds, 3.Life Transplantation, 4.Melchizedek Life Carriers, and 5.The Seven Adjutant Mind-Spirits

This week we finish with Section 6.Living Forces.

Things material may enjoy an independent existence, but life springs only from life. Mind can be derived only from pre-existent mind. Spirit takes origin only from spirit ancestors. The creature may produce the forms of life, but only a creator personality or a creative force can supply the activating living spark. (36:6.2.)

We will also briefly recap the last part of Section 5 -The Seven Adjutant Mind-Spirits, since we didn't have time to adequately discuss that.

The first five adjutant mind-spirits are intuition, understanding, courage, knowledge, and counsel. These function in the animal orders. The adjutants' experience in relationship to animals makes them more effective in their ministry to human beings. The final two mind‑spirits, worship and wisdom, function only in mortal candidates for spiritual ascension. 

The survival of mortal creatures is wholly dependent on the evolution of an immortal soul within the mortal mind. The life bestowed on plants and animals possesses neither identity nor personality; it survives only as a part of the cosmic forces of the universe. Life is neither energy nor force; it is the animation of material, mindal, and spiritual systems of energy. Life flows from the Father, through the Son, by the Spirit.
