The Planetary Rebellion Part 2

This week we continue our study on the Planetary Rebellion on Urantia. Last week we spent a good amount of time setting the stage for our listeners regarding exactly what brought Caligastia to the decisions that resulted in an enormous betrayal. A betrayal so great that our planet is still recovering, and will continue to do so for thousands of years.

Although Michael's sojourn on urantia in the flesh as Jesus technically ended the System rebellion on an administrative level, The rebellion still continues on a human level on this planet until all sympathy for the rebels has been extinguished. In this section we will learn about the difference between error, evil, and sin:
 

67:1.5 Error suggests lack of intellectual keenness; evil, deficiency of wisdom; sin, abject spiritual poverty; but iniquity is indicative of vanishing personality control.

67:1.6 And when sin has so many times been chosen and so often been repeated, it may become habitual. Habitual sinners can easily become iniquitous, become wholehearted rebels against the universe and all of its divine realities. While all manner of sins may be forgiven, we doubt whether the established iniquiter would ever sincerely experience sorrow for his misdeeds or accept forgiveness for his sins.

We will also talk about the literal outbreak of rebellion that was issues by Caligastia from Dalamatia to the evolving mortals 200,000 years ago. Immediately this declaration was the Abjection from Van and the subsequent period of 7 years, during which all celestial beings stationed on Urantia at that time were to choose between rebellion and Loyalty.

67:2.6 For more than seven years this struggle continued. Not until every personality concerned had made a final decision, would or did the authorities of Edentia interfere or intervene.
