Deborah Kantor and Michelle Bergquist chat on how everyone is in sales! Nationally, 80% of all attempts to prospect stop after the 3rd try, yet it takes 8-12 attempts to engage a prospect. The cause for stopping at 3 is fear. Imagine how those not in sales feel about prospecting and selling! An even greater challenge is for businesses, which do not realize they are in sales. Their Front Lines need sales-based relationship skills, as they are the first voice/face of those businesses (like retail, restaurants, and healthcare). Physician practices have a national, all-time low of 30% retention rate, therefore, no referrals, and worse than no reviews, they have bad reviews that do not go away.
With 4 decades of successful sales experience in real estate, staffing, retail, non-profit and fund raising, Deborah has spent the last several years training and coaching others to reach pivotal success in their businesses and careers. Students of her training have an average increase in sales of 107%. Further, I have experience being interviewed on radio and have done the ad copy and voice for 2 ad campaigns.
