A phenomenal painter and teacher, Jenny works with students that cross a wide range of professions and ages and their reason, their desire to paint are as varied. Regarding her paintings, a person once told Jenny, “I like your whimsical angst.” Jenny liked that like that description and has since, been happy to classify her painting style as such. She also likes to describe her style as “magical realism,” where she celebrates the essence and not just the likeness of her subjects, from both her real and imagined life. Jenny also runs Studio Crescendoh in the Artist Village located in Santa Ana, California, where she teaches painting and fiber arts and shows her works there. Professionally, she hosts visiting artists who teach ‘their’ art in her studio, to learners who travel from all over to participate. Jenny is also an alumna of UC Irvine and UCLA
