After six seasons as the Dallas Cowboys head coach, Mike McCarthy and the team mutually part ways. Both sides could not agree on a new contract. In his six seasons with the Cowboys, McCarthy won two NFC East division titles and had three playoff appearances.

The New England Patriots have hired MIke Vrabel as their new head coach. From 2001 to 2008, Vrabel played linebacker for the Patriots where he won three super bowls and was selected to one Pro Bowl. From 2018 to 2023, Vrabel was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. As the Titans head coach, he won two AFC South division titles, had three playoff appearances & won Coach of the Year in 2021.
