Former Major League Baseball pitcher Tim Wakefield passed away at the age of 59. During his nineteen seasons in the Major Leagues, Wakefield played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Red Sox. During his time in Boston, Wakefield was voted to an All-Star team in 2009 and helped the Red Sox win two World Series titles in 2004 and 2007. He is survived by his wife Stacy and two children, Trevor and Brianna.
