Curtis is Assistant Director of Academic Excellence at Texas Tech University, where her main charge is football.

She began her career in Athletic Academic Support at Campbell University with the football program, and went from being a part-time tutor to being promoted full-time as an Academic Advisor.

Most recently, Curtis was the Director of Academic Success at the University of Richmond, overseeing academic support for football and men’s and women’s tennis.

A former basketball and cross-country student-athlete, she completed her undergraduate degree at Fayetteville State University and earned her master’s degree in Sports and Performance Psychology from the University of the Rockies.

Born in Austin TX, but spending much of her life in Fayetteville, NC, Dasnii coached alongside her mother, Sonya Harriott. She was assistant director to the Starlings-Fayetteville Volleyball Club. She served two years as head coach for the club's 18 and under team and assistant coach for their 14U and 12U teams.

Dasnii has committed her life to fulfilling her purpose of helping others through athletics. She has been obsessed with putting in the effort, commitment, and sacrifice needed to gain the experience and skills to improve student-athletes' quality of life.
