Dr. Kyra Kendrick joined the Women Leaders in College Sports staff in May 2021.  She currently oversees member relations and engagement for the organization while also driving membership initiatives.

She previously worked at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill as the Director of On Campus Recruiting & External Relations for football. Before joining UNC, she served as the Assistant AD of On Campus Recruiting for football at Indiana University – Bloomington.

Prior to Indiana, Dr. Kendrick spent four years at the University of Mississippi as an Academic Counselor and an Assistant Director of On Campus Recruiting, respectively. She also earned her Doctor of Education in Higher Education in 2018 from Ole Miss.

Originally from Louisville, KY, she earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Louisville and her master’s degree in human resource education and leadership development from Louisiana State University.

Dr. Kendrick is an active member of Women Leaders in College Sports and the American Football Coaches Association. She is also a graduate of the Dr. Charles Whitcomb Leadership Institute, N4A Professional Development Institute and Women Leaders Institute for Administrative Advancement.
